I suspect the actual information may be fairly accurate though.
I was in the gym yesterday I think I heard two doctors talking about a 29 year old professional footballer with a broken tibia , no name mentioned but who else could it be . The consensus was that as breaks go it was an uncomplicated break and 4 to 6 weeks in a cast and return to playing in 4 months. Hope this is correct.
Was it these two?Excuse my shite spelling of fibula!Official word is just tibia. Also, what’s a fibia![]()
Someone equally as good........ but with humans rather than animals!Would that be the SuperVet? He's red hot at fixing broken legs.
Bet you had to do an extensive 10 minute Google search to find thatView attachment 33435 Was it these two?

If that's true it'd be amazing and he'd be back just in time for the run-in

Why would a broken leg be career ending at 31?Good cause at 31 it would probabley been career ending
I seem to remember a Liverpool player breaking his leg like Couttsy. He was back a few months later and did it again.
Read on one of the other threads that, because of improved treatment techniques & with them fitting metal pins etc nowadays, it leaves the leg stronger than before. Don't know how true?
That or a nosy twatHanging around the gym, listening to other peoples conversations, sounds a bit gay, if you ask me.
HH
Fuck me I'm 47....hope I don't chip a nailWhat happens between being 29 and 31? Does your body start decomposing fifty times faster?

I think generally some people on here are still living in the 70's

Scrambles even.Scambles to redeem himself.
Tbf Gill Reece broke his leg over 40 years ago when the medical treatment on offer was a slap on the back and a cigarette to reduce the boredom. Hurt your knee in then days and that was that. The best plan is to expect him back next pre season. If it happens sooner that would be greatThere's a lot more to coming back to be the player you were than just going through the .6,8, 10 week or whatever period lay off, to being able to play properly and get back to doing what you did can take months on top of that, some players never attain that level of excellence.
I remember when Gill Reece broke his leg, when he came back he was never the same player, - just saying.
I honestly and deeply hope Coutts is back doing what he, and only he, does for our team, a.s.a.p.

I always found doctors to like to add a bit of mystery to the occasion. Confidentiality etc. They failed to mention his name but included his career, specific injury and age.
And the other one thought it was probably a virus. One of them had a stethoscope and the other was wearing a white coat.
Scambles.. I gather they are a variety of blackberry bush found in India and Nigeria .Scambles to redeem himself.
