No. He miskicked it into the top corner. It was like if I take a shot with my left foot, works 1 in every 5.

Hmm, maybe he could've come off his line a bit further.

But from that angle it was pretty much the perfect shot, around the defender into the bottom corner. I don't think anyone can be blamed here, except Moore for giving away the ball, of course.

My Sunderland supporting friend said so given it was a fairly soft shot from distance. At the time my anger was at Moore and on reflection... potentially Cooper could have sorted his feet/positioning.

On further reflection, let's not go for anyone, it's done now and irrelevant (though I'm a hypocrite as I've mentioned in other threads how much Moore pissed me off, particularly through being wasteful in our attacking play today).

It was a brilliantly placed finish. It looks potentially shit when it goes in at that speed (or lack thereof). But Cooper is devoid of any blame for anything this season, one of the only ones who’s genuinely stood up to be counted and not choked when it gets tough.
