I think one of those where as he's about to throw, realises the throw is not really on and tries to "recall" it...there's a few examples where keepers have done similar but it's gone in.I couldn't work out what the fuck had happened.
And on seeing the video, still can't![]()

On first viewing I thought he'd thrown it at the back of Robinsons head... But now I think he changed his mind about releasing it as the Norwich player started to close the space and tried to keep hold but couldn'tI couldn't work out what the fuck had happened.

Gary Sprake ( leeds) once threw the ball into his own net.

Exactly what I said to Trig Jnr (TE).Gary Sprake ( leeds) once threw the ball into his own net.

That’s by instruction of the management though, he’s not all of a sudden lost the ability to play a goal kick short.Silly mistakes like this can happen so it’s not a big deal.
My only concern was from that point onwards he kicked every goal kick long. Stopped passing it out. I remember at the start of the season he was passing it straight through to Vini but seems to have lost that all of a sudden?
Confidence would play a huge factor in that. That’s by instruction of the management though, he’s not all of a sudden lost the ability to play a goal kick short.

Confidence in who he’s got in front of him is probably the only factor. With Souttar gone it’s a different dynamic, we’re rightly gerrin it forard more often to minimise the risk of losing the ball.Confidence would play a huge factor in that.
