I suspect a lot ends on whether Freeman agrees to extend his contract. He and his agent do have previous in trying everything to get him the best possible deal (which if you remember delayed his signing to Utd and ended up with him going to Mansfield for a stint), which is fair enough but I wonder if they'd consider moving elsewhere in order to achieve that.

He's an okay solid type but certainly won't be anything special. We had him but the wrecking ball Westley came in and had a clear out. He came through our youth system.

Freeman has had a year triggered so I don't see any problem agent wise.

The issue is that I would assume Utd would presumably want him and others to agree to longer contracts to protect their value as assets of the club. I wouldn't expect that to be an issue with Sharp and Basham but maybe more so with Freeman and possibly even Coutts if their agents feel they could get more elsewhere and thereby force Utd into a decision whether to cash-in now or risk losing them for nothing next season.

P#boro demonstrate this by having a policy to sell all players moving into the final year of their contracts is they're unwilling to extend - as is currently the case with Maddison.

We are interested, but quite a bit of Championship interest.

Out of contract at Fleetwood.

Aren't we championship? How many bigger teams are there than us in the mix? Maybe only dirty Leeds derby and Norwich and pigs and wolves could compete

Yes we are, quite a bit of Championship interest including us.

Quick, good on the ball and a good crosser...not surprised he's got a bit of interest.

You penny pinching bastard McCabe, loosen the purse strings you ****

I know your post is entirely tongue in cheek, but this is a example of us paying more than other clubs in this division. We paid 500k+ for our new right back by many accounts...

Doesn't count, this lad will be cheaper but better than our new boy

I literally noticed he'd signed for them and remember that there was a thread.

Fk me, if he didn't learn from that he never will.

But Adebo you are forgetting that we have a fan base still living in the 1970's where a million pounds is an astonishing amount of money and any signings must be for practically nothing otherwise they represent poor value and too much risk

Try 'fuck me you're dull but you've got nice tits'.
I don't know women very well but I'm assuming that's a tap in.
Then again I live in Barnsley now, that would be fucking poetry to these "ladies".

Even rape is classed as a sport in Barnsley!!

I mean he even had chance to read it back, phone a friend to ask a second opinion, He could have even googled Is it in bad taste to use a rape joke on a forum all before clicking "Post Reply" so many missed opportunities to save face.

We all act the cunt at times, push the boundaries to the limit but there are lines you don't cross. Sure it was meant in jest by the poster but ooooooo a tad too far.

Or you could take it tongue in cheek. But then you chaps would miss out on blowing it completely out of proportion, and I wouldn't want to deny you that now would I.

The one just behind the Korean debate.

Think you've missed the point. What happens between two friends, especially people who have a set of references and know the seriousness of a topic, is one thing. But on a forum, where many posters, male as well as female, post in the knowledge that certain issues won't be treated foolishly, racism for example, or in this case, rape, something that women are subjected to far more often than men.

As I wrote, between friends we all push one another simply because it's what friends do, but not on a forum where posters, or as it should be obvious, strangers who share a dedication to the affairs of SUFC, meet to chat, sometimes to debate, sometimes even to argue with, but this has crossed a line, a line that you appear blind to.

A simple, "Sorry, made an error of judgement", would suffice.
