For what it is worth, i work with a few Derby fans, and i was raving about how good he was to them after the first 3 games of last season, and they all laughed and said wait and see, they wasn't wrong.

I'm struggling to think who I used to battle with on this. I want to say Bladesway (sorry fella), but I'm fairly sure it was Chris Porter who he was a fan of!

Cheers Alco. I can't sleep and I stumble across this.

Not entirely true but I didn't blame Porter for the clubs failings. I always argued we didn't create enough opportunity and when you look at the 7 or 8 shots (sometimes less) we used to have and the 18-20 we often have now I would deem to be correct to a point. Porter wasn't the problem he was just the front line in an overly defensive line up and this is what ultimately was Cloughs failing.

Oh and Porter is and was a far better striker than that useless prick Sammon will ever profess to be. He epitomised fucking useless.

If Wilder went. my vote would be for Doris the tea lady, or the Joe Shaw statue, ahead of our Conor.
