I would love it, just love it, if we got either Stevie May or Chris O'Grady. I would have them way above either Sharp or Sammon on my shopping list. Another couple to consider would be Cody McDonald and Sam Baldock (although the latter is smaller than me and I'm no giant).

S18, don't know much about Sammon but his record isn't that impressive, like you say it may work out for him at the Lane. Got to say out of the two I would go for Billy. To be honest, I hope it's neither of them, my personal choice would be O'Grady, more than capable of 20plus a season at our level.

Yep, Chris O'Grady for me. Stevie May sounds promising too, if a shade too hairy

I see another thread challenging cloughs knowledge on whats needed to make a challenge for promotion.
he is building his squad the way he sees it lets leave him too it you can have your say if it all goes wrong.
have said it before here it is again CLOUGHI knows what he,s doing trust him.
he knows only too well we need a poacher and sammon would,nt be signed for that roll.
I want a poacher signed as much as any one but we need to relax a bit there is plenty of time.

If you strip away the football fans ability to be a wannabe football manager, it strips away any of the fun of being a football fan, and makes me wonder why you'd venture of a football discussion board in the first place.

Baldock and ogrady would most likely be good signings for blades but can't see neither coming off from what I've read Baldock has a heafty price tag and doesn't he normally play in a 2 with JET at Bristol? Chris ogrady would surely have championship suitors other than charlton. if they happen great! I can't wait to see who that 1 striker is who sign will shape our season IMO

You've criticised players brought in with better records and 1 in 4 isn't a great return if he's coming in as the main man.

It's ridiculous how many people who don't have a clue about this guy are writing him off. I live in Derby and get to numerous Derby matches with mates when the blades aren't playing. Sammon would be far too good for league one.
