When I posted on here on Friday I must say I never expected to receive the number of replies I did, and such warm hearted ones too. Even after more than 40 years in Stockport after moving from Suffolk to Uni in Manchester, I'm still learning that of course, northerners are the best. (And I guess you'll have your views as to which side of the Pennines is the better one!)

Congrats to Stockport. Such a shame they’ve been out of the league for so long, but hopefully now on their way back.

As others have said hope County get back to the EFL where history says they should be. Good luck mate

I used to be desperate for us to to sign Brett Angell during one of his spells with Stockport, constant thorn in our side.
