How bizarre ? A full on prematch dedication and thanks to Mark Robins , the man they have just sacked who they could still be employing if they hadn’t decided to pull the trigger. Standing ovations for Gus. O’Hare the pantomime villain. Their fans didn’t know whether to clap or boo.

Wilder reminding everyone in the post match presser that he rates Robins.

I liked the Sky commentator who said what would have happened if Hamer had taken a short corner with O’Hare? ‘Hooray, boo, hooray, boo.’ Made me smile.
It was Hinchcliffe. Surprised how balanced his comments were today, he's usually so biased against us.

Wankers !
Listen kid you are an irrelevant football club from an irrelevant town with one redeeming factor that you are our feeder club. Thanks for Fleck and Ohare on frees and Hamer who ripped you apart today. Good luck cheating your way through the rest of the season as you fade into an irrelevant mid table spot.

There was only one side that got 'ripped apart' today from the whistle and it wasn't us.

Fleck was a loss. Hamer was a massive loss. But O'Hare? I said when you signed him he isn't as good as you thought. Rudoni as I also said is a more than adequate replacement. He doesn't fall over each time there's a gust of wind.

At least we can see who are the honest posters on here.

Got to agree with you we were shite but produced 2 excellent phases of play otherwise you totally had us for the 90 but to our credit we hung in - I’d say other than Leeds best team we’ve played
Oh and I’m still confused about ohare most of the time he’s a Ben Osborne but with a hair band, but now and again a highly exceptional bit of technique and quality

I dodnt know a minute's applause for a sacked manager was a thing. Perhaps we should retrospectively do one for Nigel Adkins.

And what if the legendary Dean Hammond were to return? Do we cheer, boo, laugh hysterically or weep silently on the shoulder of the Blade next to us?

It was a good defensive display. You were on the end of nearly every ball into the area.

On O'Hare. He needs to play higher up the pitch. He terrorises defences. But for a midfield battle he is too lightweight. Gets knocked off the ball too easily. That's why I say Rudoni is a good replacement. Much stronger and nearly a foot taller.

Why if you're from Coventry, 2 hours away from Sheffield, would you go on a forum to post about anything, you're what I class as a truly irrelevant club, you don't have a rival, Leicester hate forest more than you, the most pointless "decently supported " club in English football, a club that nobody in the country gives a shit about, a true shithole of a city, a stadium that's Miles from any normal living life, and after all that, that is probably why you're on Sheffield uniteds forum, what a sad life. Utb.

Probably confusing to others but it was good to see.

Robins is the best manager the club has had. He almost single handedly saved us from oblivion. He was abandoned by the owners and left to play at multiple grounds throughout the midlands. Took us to Wembley pretty much every season, two promotions including one at St Andrews.

This year he's been poor, his two main coaches left and he's been tactically isolated despite a strong squad. It was time to move on.

O'Hare booed for obvious reasons.

Hamer still loved here and he clearly loves us considering he's always at our home matches.

Irrelevant but we've won a trophy in living memory. You'd need to 100 to truly remember the last time Sheffield United won something.

The Leicester thing is funny. Forest don't give a toss about Leicester.

Nobody cares, go back to you're shit club , you're shit city, and you're shit forums, truly pointless football club.

I long for the day we are good enough to draw at home against 10 men. Well played Coventry.

Hamer is banned from attending Cov games, by Wilder.

O'Hare is their biggest loss, stylistically, as he leads their tempo and in his absence, they have no one in the 10 role. Torp shows glimpses but is lightweight and inconsistent.

Robins was shown to be lacking Viveash's nous and ingenuity, but the decision was unavoidable, if the rumours are to be believed.

He snuck in with Tom Grennan a couple of weeks ago. I know his owner and good mate. He didn't post anywhere c

To 100 what?

Or are you that giddy getting some interaction that grammar goes out the window?

Saturday night, on a rivals forum after being unable to beat ten men despite all that pressure? What an existence.

If you keep repeating it enough people might start to believe you. Based on what they’ve seen with their own eyes he’s a midfielder in the 17th placed team in the league who managed to create little against 10 men for 45 mins.

Never known an online persona more intent on trying to compare 2 players and convince himself and everybody else that one is clearly better than the other despite their being evidence to the contrary in the league positions of the 2 players.
