You would have had evidence to back that statement up last May.

Right decision this time, hence the timing makes the above non applicable.
Nothing will change the fact that we are ran by Muppets, PS. Nothing!

Good luck to Wilder, he's going to need it.

He certainly is. From what I can make out, a huge amount of the advice on this Forum seems to be to get rid of all but three of the squad and replace them with... well, we not got as far as that yet, given the manager and owner both said we ain't got a barrel of money.

I hope he has GCB as his ringtone, that'll keep him in his job for a few extra weeks.

Not kicked a ball yet blade too long and the doom mongers have wrote us off already
Pathetic

I think people are entitled to discuss the merits of a managerial appointment, every bit as much as they can question potential signings. It's reasonable to question why, if we are maintaining a significant portion of the current squad whether the new manager will be able to improve it, when the previous two managers (both of whom have been successful at other clubs) failed to do so.

Having said that, it is a bit early for the doom and gloom, I don't think the questioning should wait for the first competitive match, but certainly we could take a deep breath and see what Wilder does to improve the squad during the summer. In my opinion, it's not a case of the jury being out, I am 100% behind the manager, think he's got a proven track record and I am optimistic for the future, looking forward to next season. Again.

The geese have gone too, they have brought in lemmings to replace them.
