Supposedly going to sign on loan for 6 months, can play defensive or can play central midfield I'm pretty sure. Any thoughts?

Spot on Deano. The unclean got promoted using good loans and then stayed up using good loans. As long as its the right loan then it can work

two connor coadys are good if youve drank too much febian brandy ,gets rid of the headache

interesting.....id sign him till xmas... I think we still need a striker on loan as well.

Being reported on BBC site as well - looks like a done deal.

Challenges Doyle I would think, which is a good thing.

I see Weir wouldn't reveal his captain tonight - interesting.

This to me seems like at least competition for Doyle and also provides backup for Maguire should somebody put a cheeky last minute bid in

It will be signed and sealed today.

Loans may be agreed a good while before the official paperwork is signed. All to do with maximising the number of games in the loan period. No point signing early, only playing friendlies when signing a week later would include two more games at the end of the loan.

Looked talkative, good touch and used the ball well tonight at Alfreton.

Same as Whitehouse, I'd say - I was a tad disappointed with the lack of actual penetration from the pair, especially Coady - but clean and tidy and acceptable for a pre season friendly.I'm sure he was told to sit in front of the centre halves.

I'm surprised at how few turned up.

yes, they were both playing a little deep in the first half.

Not surprised at the low turnout, it was all a bit short notice. I knew a few who'd already decided to go Stocksbridge, and a I know a lot, who didn't even know about it.

Its not the cheapest ground either. £20 for me and the little uns.

Aye, what a rip off. Matchday price at Alfreton is £18 next year!
