News flash, the lad actually shoots and scores unlike the rest of the crap in our squad. How the hell are we suppose to score with such a shite, moronic, and heartless midfield who cannot get a decent ball up to the strikers if their life depended on it.

The only player who we have at the moment whose movement is good, runs at people and is actually exciting to watch. He has a good delivery, a good penalty....... and people just moan about im being greedy, jesus how does anyone get anywhere without being greedy. You have to be an utter retard to think taking money for him now will be better in the long term. The money will be nowhere near the estimates of millions and will go to fuck all to replace him.

This is one we agree on Kempy.
There is only us who would part with their leading scorer at this stage of the season and still in with a real shout of promotion.
There is far more pluses to Blackmans game than faults.
Hes been played out of position on the wing i personally beleive he was more potent as an out and out frontman and i reckon if Wilson like many on here have said would have brought a half decent winger/provider in his tally would have been greater.

I know it doesn't help us this season but i would've been more disappointed with the sale of Miller. We now need to bring in a decent winger to replace him. Blackman is definately a good player. He would be an excellent player if he didn't hog the ball. We could've killed most teams off at home if he'd actually pass the ball.

Zaha has just gone so that's money in the bank, so Blackman's move will be next. Personally I prefer Blackman on the wing with miller upfront. However he should be playing upfront with the injuries we have and include Murphy and Flynn on the wings.

So basically now we are shite in midfield, crap at the back and fucked upfront.......... :) Its looking promising
 
Blackman gets sold. Diego comes in then he gets sold in the summer!! Happy days!!;)

Agree with the Miller comment Matt, selling Blackman just shows how stupid the club actually is. We now have no pace upfront again..... What was the point in buying it in the first place???! ( I know Miller's injury is not the clubs fault but this just shows how stupid the management hierarchy at SUFC is.)
 
Typical Blades - we never change and we never will. Blackman wasn't the finished article but bottom line, we have just sold our top goal scorer.

I can't believe this if it's true. It will make my season much easier, because if the club have given up on promotion then I will too. Away support will be on a day out only basis, and next Friday will be a pub crawl around town.

I'd struggle with us accepting £1.5M. The point is we've just bought him and his value wont go down. Sell him in the summer if we're desperate.

The current team looks totally shite at the moment. We've lost our best striker for the season. Are we really, really selling out top scorer?

It's got nothing to do with the colour of his skin Cooper. United fans will always criticise anyone who's not seen to be putting in a shift regardless of race.

Nick Blackman still classes as raw. He's definitely got the potential; it's the application and decision making which are holding him back at the moment.
 
Oh and you just know the replacement will be a Loanie at the end of the transfer window, stuffing us for another couple of games with no one to play upfront who can score due to the crap midfield performances. It will be a shite youngster like Cofie, O'Halloran or someone with no pace and no quality.

What a complete cock up, why as a club would you give your fans more and more reasons piling up not to go? Its just blatent stupidity

And despite all that, is still our best player by a mile. The only one, in a line up of crabs, who knows which direction to head in.

I'm bored to death with our style of player. Blackman is the one player who seems to want to drive at goal.

He's not gonna turn down a club challenging for promotion to the prem plus a salary increase, who would?. Just hope it's a decent figure we have accepted and is invested properly in the team. Which I doubt!
