A bloody great read is that mate.

Cheers.

Fantastic read mate. Are you going to do a podcast soon aswell?

Hopefully in the next couple of days, and yes I'm hoping that the sound quality is better ;)

Excellent - I enjoyed listening to the last podcast during my runs last week.

(actually, that sounded wrong. When I say "runs" I mean physically running...you get the gist!!!)

"Please note: no Grealishes were harmed in the making of this video"

Love it :D

Grealish epitomises "Do you know who I am?" more than anyone I can think of. Entitlement to the nth degree, seems to think that everyone else is only here to play second fiddle to his own vision of greatness. Probably been fed far too much bollocks about his talent and what he's worth, and so on.....

I've yet to see evidence of the talent that he's supposed to be. No doubting that somewhere there's a footballer buried deep inside, but as for a game-changer, not this lad, not this little boy amongst men.

He went down EVERY time he was tackled. It is his default mode and I guess it helps con the ref as to the 'punishment' he takes all the time.
If he actually tried to stay on his feet sometimes, he'd achieve far more. The Lunny tackle was a cracker. Still laid there 60 seconds later, presumably waiting for a VAR panel to retrospectively change the decision and award Villa a couple of compensatory goals.

I though he looked quite threatening last season, but on Saturday he seemed to believe his own hype. It's like he thinks he's already a £40m Premier League player and doesn't have to do anything now.

Whinging mardy little tosspot.

Just recently started listening to your podcast, and I'm very impressed. The content is better than I presumed it would be, it's obvious you and your co-host do your homework. (Essentially I was worried it was just going to be an over-enthusiac blade, without much to say, stating the obvious)

One comment I would make is that, if it's at all possible, I would reccomend you both record in the same room- It would obviously do wonders for sound quality, but so have a feeling it would help the chemistry too.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks, that's good to hear! The intention was to make it a blend of research and fan opinion, ie somewhere between a dry stat-fest and kneejerk Praise Or Grumble style reactions.

As to recording logistics, I would love to but unfortunately we work/live about 40 miles from each other and generally have to fit in recordings during lunch breaks etc. To be honest there's a few small things that'll improve Jay's line to at least a listenable level (I hope!)

Well I think you've hit the target in that regard.

That's a shame, but understandable. As I said, I already love the podcast, Jay's audio quality was my only critique, so any improvement is great news.

I look forward to the next one :)

I've not read all the comments about the game, or the stats, but I haven't yet seen anyone suggest that possibly the real reason for us surrendering possession for the best part of 30 minutes was tactical. I don't mean that CW needed to rest legs, or see the game out as that suggests a touch of negativity. It strikes me that CW saw an opportunity to give our midfield and defence a thorough workout/training type session in the art of defending against quality attacking opposition.... something you can't possibly get in a training session or a friendly match. Villa undoubtedly have very talented attacking players and the ability to maul teams at this level, so for the Blades to contain them the way they did and protect Deano without really showing any intent other than keeping them out bodes well for our prospects for this season. Sit back and enjoy the ride guys!!! - here we go again.... mind the gap an' all that.........

Can some nice person (or a complete tosspot, I'm not fussed) please tell me where I can find these podcasts please? Ta.
