Today was a clear example of our weaknesses compared to our strengths
Think on this..... vs Hull we were 1 . 0 up and time running down. He brings on Coutts and we keep the ball in the opposition half , pass, pass, pass, so much so, folks were posting it on the social media about "this is how we see out a game"...result was a win
Compare to leads by 1 goal vs Rotherham, Stoke, and others where we conceded late. We bring a defender on , remove our forward players who might hold the ball high up the pitch so we can get out, conceding totally the opposition half of the field and instead camping in OUR own third..... each time has resulted in us conceding a last minute goal.
Its not rocket science and to not learn from this now is quite honestly embarrassing. Once maybe , twice, hmmm....now its become a habit.
we play our best in the final third with us holding possession.
we have literally surrendered 8 maybe 10 points this season with this change to a system that doesn't work for us
