The only thing to come out of BDTBL recently is .........................nothing!
We get players coming out with rubbish, Cresswell is the latest to spout on about poor starts, can't put their finger on the problem, Can't understand it. letting the fans down blah, blah blah .......he's part of the problem he's shite and not scoring goals, last week it was Quinn, the week before it was Simonsen, next week a comment from the Ballboys!
I was right behind Speedos appointment but I am beggining to wonder if my judgement was right! He appears as week knee'd as Blackwell
He's gone from searching every nook and cranny for players to not expecting anyone to come in the near future!
Perhaps that was part of his appointment -sound positive, tell lies and all will be well!

A statement on behalf of SUFC:

Sheffield United can confirm today that we have no money. We can confirm that we are fully behind the manager and will give him as much backing as we can (as long as it doesnt cost us anything). We will encourage speed to tell the fans we are close to signing certain players to keep them interested, but SUFC cannot afford any more players at this time.

Trevor Birch and Kevin Mccabe are working tirelessly to get a solid link with the honduran 2nd division champions to make it look like were doing something. In January, we will more than likely have to sell our best assets to keep the club afloat, but do not panic, Nosworthy is not going anywhere.

Not direct quotes, granted - however that's what happened and that's what's been quoted by the manager and players alike. Yes, we're not good enough at the moment, but I don't see anyone denying it.

Perhaps Speedo can get them to play the whole game as discussed in training rather than just 45 minutes.
By the way the game was lost at half time Donny didn't need to do that much thats why we appeared to play better in the second half.

I'd rather they all said nothing at all. Players, coaches, staff, management and owners.

Instead, I'd rather we adopted the radical idea of concentrating on the football.

I'm sure United would rather this as well.

Not to mention the fact that he played two proper wingers (Ward and Yeates) in the second half and replaced Ertl with the more mobile and attack-minded Lowton. I do declare that I actually saw us play TWO strikers up front at one stage although it was only for the last ten minutes (when we made it into their box and should have had a penalty). Perhaps Speed needs to start looking at his team selection and negativity along with hoping the players are "at it". Whatever that means?
