Hi Blades fans, Palace fan here. I'd just like to say goodbye but good luck next season as I'm sure you'll be back before long. Sheffield is my favourite City and I often come up for weekends away for Palace games at both Bramall Lane and Hillsborough. I know you would have been over the moon this time last year when we sent Wednesday down but to see you go this year too means I'll have no more Sheffield away days for now.

It's still a bit of a shock to see a club like yours go down today and I'd like to have the bigger clubs staying in the league and would happily have preferred to see Donny go down insted of yourselves but hey ho we all have to fight for ourselves and luckily we have got away with it. Like I say, I'm sure you'll be back and would just like to say good luck for next season.

Cheers PE... I think we're all a bit gutted but the writing's been on the wall for a long while now.

All the best for next season.

no ill feelings towards any clubs this season ,no one to blame but ourselves

Exactly last time round there was blame to be handed out perhaps but this time we just have not turned up this season.

yeah, good luck, we never really made up the ground to your lot

Decent home form kept Palace up and if we had managed to do that it may of been a more interesting end to the season.

Nice to see some pleasant opposition fans visiting the forum.

We've been down for weeks now and it was a case of when not if.

Hope you finally kick-on next season. All the best PE

Thanks PE,

Palace just seem to been around at the end of the season. 97 Play off final is obvious. Palace were the team we played last game of the season when we went up to the PL, then Palace was the team in our way when 7000+ Blades fans went to the last game of the season when we could've gone up again a couple of seasons ago...

Of course we all know about the last game of last season at the sty, what a lovely day...

But now, sadly, we couldn't even muster the fight for a battle with Palace, we just weren't up for it.

From what i've seen this year, we've blown our our own season no one else to blame.

Its nice that you've come on here, but I have no reason to wish you good luck or bad.

Thanks for the kind words PE - they're appreciated by us all.Keep hold of Nat Clyne, the excellent Sean Scannell, and the lion of Hillsborough (Darren Ambrose),and you'll be right.

May you remain glad all over and that you get the 6 points from Brighton you've been waiting for for years, and I'm sure we'll fill up our senses and be back having a sing song in the William Stanley with ya sooner rather than later.

All the best !

Nice one PE. We've totally fucked it up for ourselves this season, and, along with your decent home form, we were never likely to gain ground on you.
Palace are a decent club, and, the memories of how you sent the pigs down last season will live long!!
Good luck to you also next season.
