They really need to step things up, we know certain members of staff read this site, they must knew that there must some truths in some of the stories we are reading about all the what's left of the good players moving on, come on Blades give us a story to smile about, everything is doom and gloom.

They said we lost 4 weeks on the back of last season because we didn't know which division we'd end up in, I know it's slightly earlier this because of the World Cup but exactly who have we signed??? who has renewed?? I know we do a lot of work in the community and yep it's good hear but we are a football team in England for christ's sake, give us some football news, chengdu doesn't count either!

Rant done!!

What do you want them to say? Highlight everyone we are talking to or thinking of approaching?

confirm we are keeping some of the quality we still have and get some quality in so we actually have a squad of our own players

The perennial problem with this time of year is that we suddenly become incredibly gullible. We seem to accept every scrap of invented drivel that someone else heard from their mother’s aunt’s mate’s son, who picked up the ‘story’ from a piece of soiled tabloid rag, in the bottom of the cat’s litter tray, or indeed, in the cat’s bottom.

It does, however, give us something to talk about in/on forums such as this, as they would otherwise be rather quiet. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. In the days of yore, before the t’internet, fans simply accepted what was printed in the Star, which was generally information released by the club, and was fairly accurate. This meant that although we footy fans were bored stiff, the scraps of information we did receive could be trusted. Now that fans, hacks, agents and clubs all have the ability to cultivate rumours outside the insular football circles, we all have much more to talk about, but we do it in such a paranoid and hysterical fashion, and I must say it really gets on my mammaries!

No matter how much you are outraged, euphoric or otherwise, it is NOT going to influence the decisions made by the club. And by participating in these untruths, peddled by idle journo’s and scurrilous agents, you are simply fuelling the fire that irritates you so.

Yes, the club could communicate more effectively, and more frequently, but if there’s nothing to say, there’s nothing to say…

Even I threw my toys out of the pram when I heard the "rumour" about Monty and PK. I'm back on a level now.

We'll see what happens.

cheap as chips fooked off ............................ if Carlsburg did good news :D

We've had a bid from Donny for Billy Sharp, that's more good news for United/the McCabe retirement fund.

and we turned it down. Monty is out of contract and doesn't seem to want to sign a deal when he can earn more elsewhere and Paddy has a release clause (otherwise he would of already left) and also wants a bit of the double your money deal at QPR. I still don't see what the club should do to keep these players.

Morgs agrees new deal
Blades captain Chris Morgan has today signed a new three year deal to stay at Bramall Lane

That's exactly what I mean!!

the slience is deafening BB!!??

oh what music it would be to our ears if cheap as chips fooked off!!??

It'd most likely be the sound of you two tossing each other off over the Breaking News banner on SSN.

''Eeeeeeh thaz got reyt soft 'ands kid....sotfer than ahhh Gerts'' ;)

"Ahh too reight. Nar then, I want thee to gemme on vinegar stroke reight when McCabe's interview is on" ;)

your wit astounds me Mousey. Tell me something else funny.

I'm glad. You sure do like to bite though don't you. I hardly have to use bait. I might as well just pat my lap and say "come on then" and you'd be here, flapping away.

I know you love me really and want to have babies with me but I'm sorry babe, I'm just not in to you.
