Fantastic game, no defensive/ containing tactics from either manager.
Both teams going for it...almost gung ho at times, like watching a basketball match.

It really reminded me of the Ajax v Spurs game.

It begs the question though to both Ajax and Leeds.....when you’re in control of a game with a healthy lead.
Why not think about containment/ protecting the lead and closing out the game.

Both Ajax and Leeds can only attack, both totally hopeless at defending.
And Bielsa is supposed to be this master tactician.

Ask me before the first game of the season I would have snapped your hands off for a play off place after looking at the competition , but after watching both the semi’s and our past experiences I’m so fucking glad we’re not involved and the lads worked us a minor miracle to get us promoted automatically.
Though I must add I’m looking forward to catching up with a particularly gob shitey Leeds fanI work with who sent out out the league table at the New Year to pass on a family pack of Kleenex & a large bottle of fuck off pills

So the wankness of the playoffs wins through.

Two teams who didn't threaten automatic promotion all season get through while one of the main pacesetters falls by the wayside.

How thoroughly undeserving.

Can't wait for the media love in.

As much as I wanted Leeds to fail it is a shit system if you're third best.

I detest the playoffs, over 46 games the 3rd placed club should go up, irrespective of who they are.

I'm no Leeds fan but they deserve to be up!

I am just so so glad that we have not been in them this year, as someone said, they really are the 'killing fields'!

Everyone knows the rules from day one. If you don't want to play by the rules then don't enter.
How can anyone not like the playoffs? Hope for lot's of teams right to the end of the season, followed by some cracking playoff games. I love these games.

It's a lot more fun when we're not in them and Leeds are bottling them.

The most "fair" way would be to promote third but the play-offs make the division so much better as a whole. Up to the final day you've got 8th place still fighting for a shot. In the final few games you've got even more teams still in with a chance if they put a run of wins together. Otherwise the last six or seven games of the season would have seen 3 teams pretty much certain for promotion, a couple of teams fighting for the last relegation spot, and the other 19 teams not giving a toss. It makes the competition as a whole much more exciting and much more competitive.

All this talk of play offs being unfair, while ever there's something to play for it keeps teams 'honest' I don't know if we'd have made it to autos if Villa or any of the others thought there season was over by the end of February.

I wanted Leeds to win the play offs but after the antics of Bamford and another example of cheating fuckwittery from Hernandez tonight, fuck 'em.

We were interested in the summer but wouldn't pay the price. Perhaps under wilder he can be a prem player. He's young and got the pace we need up front

Yeah I'd quite Leeds up.

Mainly because i live in Leeds and want to wear my Blades shirt thus summer without worrying too much about getting chinned.
Coward.

I live in Morley and I'll be wearing mine all June whilst I'm in Crete ;)
