Interesting article in today's Yorkshire Post where Collins speaks about the value of our great away support

In particular,

There’s nothing that inspires you like a big away support, it’s fantastic. At Notts County, we filled the whole stand. You get a huge buzz off it, especially if you score a late winner, like at Villa.

Oh yes, it's the fans wot wins/loses us matches...You know these cliche's are great but no substitute for real determined effort from the players...

I would settle for the home performances matching any of our support, home or away. I am of course being optimistic, what do you expect for a £1.

Not this season there isn't. We'd be top 2 if there was. And plenty of teams with p!ss poor support have beaten us.

Cliché, a substitute, when did we sign him? I don't recall seeing him at Crewe, mind you I had lost the will to live by the time the third substitute was played.

It would make a difference and I bet we'd win a few more. Or maybe get the odd extra point!

It gives you a real buzz when youre out in the city centre after another defeat you can just imagine what it must be like for players who give a shit and respond to great support by playing better, you can use that as motivation for pulling birds who dont know yhat you phone in every performance and care more about where your next money for nothing contract is coming from
