I'd be very surprised if this was true but not impossible I suppose. With the exception of Grant who did pretty well at Hudders, I'm struggling to think of too many that have been able to cope with the jump from L1 to Prem.

I wouldn't be against a Sharp, McGoldrick, McBurnie & Collins strike force to be honest.

Collins played well last season and would be a decent cheapish rotation option.

If its true I'm not so sure I'll be thanking you mate! I hoped for McBurnie, but maybe if we do sign Collins its because he's a back up target man that is cheaper than Madine.

Can’t say I know much about him.

But he’s not exactly got Stellar pedigree and is pushing 30 so it’s a big step to take.... doesn’t tick many boxes for me if I’m being honest.

Even as 4th choice striker id be more tempted to keep Clarke (at least there wouldn’t be a fee.). And can’t imagibe he’d be much cheaper than bringing madine back if he’s a target man.

I do like Collins though and when we first got Wilder I half expected Collins to come because he did well for him at Northampton and we were only one league above.

If Wilder wants him then I'll be fully behind the signing. He'd only cost £2m I would guess.
