Think he was called Briggs.

Big strong lad not scared to stuck in and made a couple of impressive runs. Turns out he's on loan from Charlton. Played as a LB tonight but think he would make a good defensive midfielder. Was on the end of a lot of their corners as well.

Deffo one to watch

From Milwall according to wiki? I hadn't realised he'd left Fulham as that's where I'd recognised him from, played well tonight.

Always been aware of him for some reason, no idea why. As you said looked very quick and strong, one in the first half where JCR knocked it past him but he just out ran him and blocked him off well. Not many better than Bobby H though, one of our most underrated in my eyes.

Agree re Whispering Bob but as I say I would tend to use his size speed and ability as a defensive midfielder not a full back.

Was meant to be a big thing at one point. Future england potential. Not sure he's that good but good enough for us

Never mind the No.15.

We have been crying out for a big target man who can win the ball in the air, hold it up, play people in and is not afraid to shoot.

How was the crowds reaction to said former striker last night? Missed the game due to a poorly dog..

Was alright. Gary Sinclair announced him with the usual "Welcome back to the Lane. . . ." Few nice cheers in response to that.
Not booed at all during match and gave us a nice clap at the end. He played alright in first half too.

Cool, the man gave us all some great memories last season

When he's paired with Stratton - that's some engine they've got between them
