Thanks. I agree with pretty much all if that. I suspect financial constraints mean we can only have two at the most.

I'd go for your 2. and 3. I think.

Why do you prioritise a CH? Is it because we can't play a high line with Collins, or some other reason?

I think Edgar and Collins are ok as long as they are well protected. If we're going to introduce some more attacking ability further ahead our back four may have to cope on their own more often, so if there is someone really really good available I think that could strengthen us. I didn't mean to say centre half was the top priority by the way.

2. Accepting 4-4-2 is what we'll play:

• One centre half
• A busy, competitive and mobile wide man who's also a goal threat
• A strong striker with decent mobility

I have said for some time we need 4 players - the three you mention but I would make priority one a box-to-box midfielder. Allow Hammond to sit deep and break up play. He needs that next to him and he would be a better for it.
