If I was Ange I would have told Bentancour I'm the manager and I make the subs. Now get to the office and write a cheque for all the seats you've just smashed and pick your P45 up on your way out you petulant knobhead .
What an example to set all the young kids watching , then the City keeper joins in and kicks everything in sight over ,another sad overpaid superstar.

spurs had no intention of winning that game last night and son would have put that chance away 9 times out of 10 for me he deliberately shot it straight at the keeper theres just been 2 very iffy smelly premier league games in the last few days

Hes scoring that chance against us 100/100. No fuckers miss.

If I'm honest ant it was in our situation, I'd want us to leave se if it stopped Wednesday from winning promotion for example and for us it was a nothing match. I hate saying that but it's not often this situation comes up, mostly because Wednesday and promotion only happens every ten years or do and from league one!

I thought Spurs fans were embarassing last night, the atmosphere was poor considering what was at stake for their club. They had a chance of Champions League, albeit a slim one, but they play us on Sunday so put the effort in v City and give themselves a chance.

The way they played on the pitch was a joke, the only person that seemed to care was Big Ange. Listening to him throughout the season i've grown to like him. Talks direct and takes no crap, which makes me wonder why his team are so spineless. I know that they have Maddison and Johnson, so it shouldn't suprise me, but the entire team had no balls. Yes they created some chances but they didn't go toe to toe with City, they looked nervous and cowardly.

As much as we've seen our own side give up this season and suffer heavy defeats, Spurs put in a similar performance and if i'd have been a Spurs fans, i'd have walked out.

Its not about missing chances, its about taking the game to a team. And yes i understand it was Man City, Champions elect, but try and win the game at least.

I really hope that our players watch the game last night. Nothing to fear on Sunday if this Spurs side turn up.

I don't care about rivalry, its about my own side first, then any rivalry can come in...

And let The City Keeper was voted Man of the Match,...... good job Spurs weren't trying to win

The bottom line is Big Ange is an employee of the club, its his job to win games, .........he is not a fan who has to share the same workplace as Arsenal fans he doesn't have mates down the pub who are going to give him crap forever more that he helped Arsenal win the League.

the only time spurs fans created an atmosphere was when they went 2 down and knew arsenal were not winning the title they were nervous as hell in case they won and gifted arsenal the title hugely embarrasing night for the premier league these last 2 fixtures should have been nowhere near the end of the season

Which games?

Spurs had a chance of Champions League. A realistic equivalent would be us throwing a game that if we won would get us in the play offs, just to stop Wednesday getting autos.
I want to win that game. But I want us to win every game, Wednesday are an afterthought.

That's a good point - and I don't know the fragility of Spurs fans and their inferiority complex - but United and Wednesday are completely different - neither of us will win anything, or do anything that is going to elevate us to International Fame anytime soon. Basically, if either of us - within the next decade - won the Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup or a European Trophy - it would be a massive blow to the other supporters - we could bask in that glory for at least 50 years.

However, if Wednesday had a brilliant team, a brand new 60,000 stadium - regularly in the Champion's League, FA Cup wins, back page news etc., and we also had a brand new 60,000 stadium - brilliant team, won Domestic Cups - played in the Champions League etc., and we met in the Premier League every season in a Media frenzy "stop press Steel City Derby Extravaganza", I'm not sure I'd be that bothered about Wednesday winning the League to the extent of 'throwing' a match that could see us nick a Champion's League spot. But yes, it would hurt.

To misquote Keegan " I'd love it , love it if we dump spurs out of Europe on Sunday " ..
As well as it being a farewell to a few players it's put something on the game rather than it being and end of season nothing game .

We can't knock Spurs out of Europe. The lowest they can drop is 6th, which will be good for a Europa Conference place at least. Likelihood is it'll get a Europa League spot, unless Man U beat Man City in the cup.

I really want to win today because of the arrogance shown in the media and Spurs fans wanting to lose to City. They've assumed today will be an easy win against us and would not need 3 points against City to confirm Europa league. It would be so funny if we do them today and Chelsea catch them (so they end up in that conference comp).

Biggest myth ever they’re classed as a “big 6” club imo, they’ve won league twice in their history, they were good when they had Greaves and Blanchflower but for me never been on same page as the other big ones, I’d put spurs on same level as Newcastle, Villa, Everton them types of clubs. Nice stadium but plenty of money in that part of world.
