ONLY ME!!! Dont know if you lot remember my first post.....to remind you all i nailed your season before the rest of you

Very pleased you smashed the league....hope Wilder gets to the prem with you boys. Best team in the league by miles, with best manager.

Next season you will consolidate lower mid and youll be pushing for play offs in next 2-3. No drama.

26 years I waited to be able to say my team were champions...it was a blade that made it happen! So thanks and good luck !!

Thanks for the kind words and I hope you push on further next season too. I of course enjoyed the day out at Northampton last month, and found the fans and staff down there to be very accommodating and positive to our situation. It was all well handled.
 
top day down at sixfields had a good laugh with a few of your fans and iverall seemed a good bunch... i did get started on by a 90 year old bloke though:D

I got chinned by an old bloke in Crookes once. It was like being slapped with a glove. I just had to take it because if I'd hit him I'd have killed him. Very bizarre experience.
 
As much as I'd like to, I'm sitting this one out, it's getting old now.

Id actually parked outside his house, which was two doors up from mine, whilst I got a couple of things from mine to load into the car. If he'd have shut his senile gob I'd have done what I had to do and gone within two minutes. Instead we spent five minutes arguing about it with him trying to hit me and missing until he finally landed one on me.

Was one of the old "I fought the Germans for you" despite probably being about 5 years old when the War was on?

Still I bet 'her indoors' (his) was hot for 'it' when her fearless hero returned. Nice

He didn't say that but he did have a sense of self entitlement that old age gives some people. It was 25 years ago so he'd probably have been the right age.

To be fair, I think he was concerned that if him or his wife got ill there'd be nowhere for the ambulance to park. He was always at it and I tended not to park there because it wasn't worth the grief but I needed to load my car and it was the only space available. I did try to explain but he was too busy being apoplectic to listen.
He'll be long gone by now, so I win. ;)

Bet he was a pig too.
 
Thanks for the use of your pitch for the promotion party btw ;)

(I'm sure even those who, er, "didn't fully welcome it" have softened by now.)
