I’ve just read on here from someone that no direct transfer has been made between Man U and Liverpool since 1964, this has me thinking how many clubs out of the 92 in the league and a few below have we sold or bought from.

I’ll edit the list into alphabetical order when I get chance

If we're doing non league, was it Ilkeston we got Che Adams off? And surely we've got most of the Scottish teams covered from the Nigel McClough era.

Never signed anyone from Spearmint Rhino, and in an effort to change that, and for the benefit of SUFC I am willing to act as chief scout, take a good look at their squad.
Despite a rather large squad, they tend to lack cover at the front and back, more comfortable with zonal cover but quick to attack, press forward and often target someone, although very reluctant to go 1 on 1, compete in a 50/50 challenge, or a
holding role,, prone to back heels and over elaborate play, seem to play a lot of games behind closed doors, under floodlights, lots of time spent training on movement and formations, quite an open attacking line up, although they do tend to favour set pieces, allowing the front two to be covered, specialise in quick moves especially on the counter, more often than not leaving the two up front exposed.

If we're doing international, we signed legendary disappointment Ravel Morrison from Östersunds. I bet the overall list of all international signings in our history is relatively short for a club of our size.

Not sure that counts technically. Hadn't he been released by Ipswich and we got him on trial as a free agent?

I liked Stead. Will always have a place in my memories for that brave headed goal vs Liverpool on the opening day in the prem in 06/07.
Yeah he was a class player for a short while, only just announced his retirement hasn't he
