Ok, so clough leaves derby,.derby get mclaren and he transforms a bottom three club to promotion favourites...

Sound familiar? But that's where the comparison ends, mclaren pushed on and kept a settled side and carried on this season where he left off last season, clough clearly hasn't.

I expect derby to get decent compensation for mclaren and spend that on eddie howe, howe must realise that he needs a big club if he were to get to the prem in order to stay there, bournemouth ain't it..

Clough can't cut it in league one with our budget, sad but true.

Derby were a bottom 3 team in the same way I am shagging Katy Perry.

Correct me then dude, where were derby when they sacked clough?...

I don't support derby you see..!!

Edit,.they wern't doing well were they??

Just had a look back in time they were 14th with 11 points from a possible 27 and a goal difference of one..

Mirroring our form about now, sorry I was wrong about bottom three, but they weren't going anywhare fast were they?

Averiging about 1,3 points a game..

You could say he's consistent though..

they were about 9th a bit inconsistant but potential playoff hopefulls Mcclaren found a bit of consistancy and almost made
it through the play offs.Who,s to say they would,nt have done the same under clough (that is a question with no answer?)
Clough was very angry when sacked as he felt he had,nt been given chance to finish the job he started we surely wont make the same mistake we arnt far away from taking this division by storm but it may be next season before it actually
happens if thats the case let us enjoy the cup ties and show a bit more patience.

They had just lost two games. At home to just relegated Reading and a undeserved loss at Forest.

I know because my Mrs and her family are all Rams as well as my mates down here. They had won 5 - 1 at Millwall the week before that and lots thought they had been playing the best most attacking football under Clough and many where angry when he was fired.

They were far from crap and could easily have gone on the same sort of run under Clough - I do think McLaren is a better manager mind. I just don't think you can use Derby as a stick to beat Clough with as all things considered he did an awesome job there.

Dude.

;)
