Pretty sure Brayford came off injured after 5 minutes today. That's the time of his substitution. Don't know the extent of the injury.

Coutts could possibly be a target for them now, doubt we'd let him go, but with Carruthers and O'Shea in, it's a slight possibility.

Not hapnin then.

Will they come for our current manager having failed to get our old one ???

UTB

I've heard he turned them down because he realised he wouldn't be able to sign Brayford until next season.

Their owner picks which players to sign.

No surprise that FLN rejected them with that in mind. He'll not accept any job where he doesn't have complete control in every department, as it's the least that his incredible ability deserves.

He's currently in a no lose situation at Burton too.

Still, not a bad manager for who took over when we're bottom of the league, got us to two cup semi-finals and a play off spot, then got the next club he managed promoted. Fair play to him for not going to a club where the owner buys who he wants.

then got the next club he managed promoted.

I actually belive you said that with a straight face!

Try,..

"took over a team almost clear and gone at the top of The League and eventually stumbled across the line with them"

If Last season would have gone another there games Burton would have finished in, and lost the play offs

He has said "it's the right thing to stay at Burton".

I believe that to be utter bolllocks. If he didn't want to leave, why would he talk to them in the first place?

Forest owner will have told him that he wants to micro manage the club, meaning cushty jobs for his Brother, Assistants and Coaches etc. are a none starter.

That's the thing, the season didn't go an extra three games. They went up, he got them promoted and is still doing a decent job at the club.

He got them promoted in the most Nigel Clough way possible, a 0-0 draw away at relegated Doncaster. Fair play, they held on (just).

On the other hand - sad (aka hilarious) day for Forest when Nigel bleeding Clough turns them down.
