Didn't really study it but Stevens missing would be a huge loss, not as eye catching as some of his early performances recently but still performing consistently well.

The whole other 6 of our lot is a big miss

The website is called Football League World, bit of a clue maybe

Not including prem players though

Fair enough but then it isn't really a representative Yarkshur side is it.

If it has to be FL, then how the hell have 4 Wendy players made it?

Don't Rovrum/ Donny/ Dingles/ Bratfut/ Ull have anybody better?

That side would only be as good as its manager. Top of the league under Wilder, bobbing along in mid table under the other two.

Oh, and Duffy is a huge oversight.

Than Westwood, Lees, Bannan and Reach? No. All very good players.

That's as maybe, but they are Wednesday players and therefore should be rubbished.

Danny04, I think you are in danger of letting your independent and fair minded journalism training, overshadow natural one eyed bias against all things pig. Sort yourself out son!

That's right. It's talking about "Championship" only - but then at the end of the article it calls for fans of all Yorkshire clubs to comment - which contradicts how the article is set up. Of even greater mystery than the exclusion of Huddersfield (because they are in the Prem), is the exclusion of Middlesbrough and Hull City. These are both Yorkshire teams, despite the change of "administrative" name to "Teesside" and "Humberside" respectively.

This may come as a surprise to some Blades I know, because I recall some years ago we played Middlesbrough at home and the Kop were singing, "United hate f*ckin' Geordies". :D

It's a shame that you couldn't pick up on the subtle Yorkshire solidarity.

Middlesbrough is part of North Yorkshire. Teeside was an administrative county between 68 and 74, then it became Cleveland which was abolished in the late nineties, as was Humberside. They're both Yorkshire clubs, as you say. I'm not surprised people get confused though.

Yorkshire is the area defined in the past as the necessary birth area to play for God’s own cricket team. No bureaucrats will ever change that - Teesside and North Humberside will come and go but Yorkshire - like SUFC and BDTBL - is for ever.

It’s Magic to have Pride

They call us arrogant but we’re just realists - we simply accept that we are better than the rest!

I think we should take Bannan and Rhodes off them in January

Bannan's quality at this level, I'd take him in a heartbeat as a ready-made replacement for Coutts. In our squad, Rhodes would be fourth-choice striker behind Leon, Billy, and Brooksy.
