We haven’t had a settled defence for a while. It certainly isn’t helping.

Not sure it's the 'BIG' problem - it's a function of the way we play. CW, AK want us to go for it, they want us to attack and we are reckless sometimes. For a fair bit of the season this approach has brought fantastic rewards but is not realistic to think that it's going to work every time; In fact CW said as much at the start of the season. The approach worked in the Pigs game for example, 2 up, early 2nd half pigs taking control - CW subs, Wright for Duffy, I can't think that many managers in that situation would have made that change, we concede again 2-2 then Duffy is instrumental in us winning the game but it was a hell of a brave call and it worked and goes down in Blades folklore; but it didn't work against Fulham where we got caught out by their pace and ability on the break big time.
I think 3 things have changed recently - Obviously, we are really missing Coutts - Our success in the first part of the season has meant that other teams are clearly starting to work us out tactically and paying us the complement of changing their approach when playing us - The astonishing unity, confidence and belief in what we are doing has clearly taken a bit of a jolt and needs to be re-established.
As a fan I want CW to continue doing what he is doing, it's brought about the best times I can remember as a fan - I don't want him to come under pressure from fans or anyone else to be more defensive in his set up. The only thing I/we can do about it is to shout and sing our support the team during games to try and help them to get back that astonishing belief we've seen and hopefully we will see a return to some of those glorious performances from earlier in the season. Everything else is down to the players, management and owners.

It's because of how we play. It's only a issue when you stop creating chances really as we have the past two games. The centre halves are encouraged to push forward and with two attacking wing backs and no ball winning defensive midfielder , we are always going to concede. In fairness though our attacking approach is the reason we all love this team. We may have to be a bit more conservative to genuinely challenge though .

Five.

Not good enough.

The last of those, back in October.

The 'BIG' problem... ?

What's worse are teams is all the teams we face score all/ near to all their shots on target. Some crazy stat is out there, but don't know it off my head

Really disappointed with this, thought there was an offer here!??
After my bout of illness I really should think about washing mine, I'm sure the stains with come out, was just hoping this was going to be a "free to a good home" thread though...........oh well.
