I dunno... Morgan up against Shevchenko and Ballack might be the best thing for United :)

Some of his firm but fair challenges and I doubt we'd hear a peep out of them for the rest of the match.

He'd be available anyway....only a one match ban taken care of by the Birmingham match.

will we hear anything of them anyway theyve been shocking thus far but with shevvers scoring last week he could well of settled in now *GULP*

Well chelsea like to dive so morgan tackling them will give them loads of chances to do a superman and get a few penalty's.

Yeah because Davis didn't just give Everton opportunity to dive for a penalty did he?

From that report, presuming it's right..............

Speaking ahead of tomorrow's Carling Cup third round tie against Birmingham City, Warnock said: "Claude will only miss this game and should be okay to face Chelsea (at the weekend) but that's not the point.

Sky claim Davis would have a 3 match ban if the Red card stands.

Sheffield United have appealed Claude Davis' sending off against Everton on Saturday.

The Blades have submitted a claim of wrongful dismissal with The FA over Davis' dismissal.

Davis was shown a straight red card for hauling down Andy Johnson inside the penalty area as he tried to race clear on goal.

The decision infuriated United boss Neil Warnock with the Bramall Lane chief launching a tirade at referee Dermot Gallagher.

A statement from the FA confirmed: "The FA has received a claim for wrongful dismissal from Sheffield United defender Claude Davis."

The FA's disciplinary commission will consider the claim on Tuesday and if United fail in their appeal Davis faces serving a three-match ban.

"Hauling down"??

No way could you ever describe what happened in that way.

Heaven forbid Andy Johnson's missus ever holds his hand :D

Domestic abuse charges'll be brought!

EDIT: As mentioned in the shoutbox... a one match ban has been upheld which will be served tonight in a game he was unlikely to feature in.

Pathetic decision but one which won't cost us when we need him the most.

soooooo...

according to Mr Gallagher and now confirmed by the FA, Touching someone on the hand in the penalty area is a sending off and one match ban.

Smashing someone across the face and riding them into the advertising boards or alternatively crawing across the pitch and biting someone is worth a mere booking.

HMMMMM!

Sounds about right Foxy yeah.

I wish I could be so inadequate in my job and get paid a fortune :)

The FA have got no life, someone needs to get in there and give them a good arse kicking and oust the corrupt idiots who are turning our beautiful game upside down.

Least it's a 1 match ban though and Claude's avail to try stop Shevvy on Saturday.
