He was very good, I thought. Reasonably cliche free, succinct and intelligent. Better than the usual rent-a-gobs.

There wasn't much else about watching that game that was any good.

Agree. Like the way he didn't hold back from slating Rodellega's attitude.

it's all about the result :-)

Watching big Harry and Collins have there strikers in there pockets was plenty entertaining for me,and the amount of times Howard put the ball out of play.
Our centre halves were immense..

Maybe i'm a saddo, but I got a lot of pleasure from seeing our improved organisation. Although Fulham are crap for a premier side, we made 'em look that way too.

I admit it would have been dire viewing for a neutral though.....and for Fulham fans :-)

He generally seems like a top bloke, I watched the repeat of 'footballs suicide secret' recently, very good.

I thought he was very articulate, was spot on with the précis and made superb observations. I could almost forgive him for being the thorn in our side in season that Burnley went up instead of us.

He really plays on being the 'intelligent footballer' which is a bit annoying, but like gary Neville on sky, he's an excellent co commentator

When Harry launched their striker to the ground he just laughed it off blaming the striker for getting in Harry's way stating something like " I'm going forward, look where you're going and move out of my way"

Then with rodallega's sulk he went into a proper rant saying stuff like - if he hadn't been so shit he wouldn't get taken off, slating his petulance and calling him a premaddona. Great stuff!

He constantly slated Fulham for not having a go

He's even read a book or two. He referred to 'pathetic fallacy' at one point when it was raining hard. Sadly, he didn't quite get it right but full marks for knowing about it.

I look forward to allegorical narrative from Andy Giddings when we play away at Gillingham.

The bloke made some intelligent observations tactically and some comments on defensive technique which you rarely get..
