Just a point, they don't "allow" hipflasks into matches and if the stewards find it, you risk having it taken off you.

Saying that, I have partaken in a nip of Southern Comfort before now...

And I for one would be alongside the stewards waiting to confiscate any high quality spirits contained within said hip flasks ;)

I arrived back from the Caribbean with a rather nice bottle of Admiral Rodney rum, distiiled with aplomb in St Lucia and very smooth to the taste. If I'd been fortunate enough to be up on boxing day there may well have been a little piece of BDTBL going all calypso...Irie!

I often wondered how fans could watch the same game and come away with completely differing opinion on players and the performance, I think I have the answer, Hip Flasks and their contents.

And looking at this thread, Hip Flask = Clapper

Which begs the question, how big is Duncs Hip Flask ?

He must have one of those back packs aimed at mountain bikers.

Before this gets moved, I put in General Blades section as its about the match day experience during winter.

I missed the game yesterday, too close to me coming back on Weds. But I was away in Hamburg this week and picked up a nice new St Pauli Hip-flask - perfect timing considering the current cold snap.

It replaces my 10 year old Salford Uni Hip-flask, which has had some hammer in recent seasons!

So with new Hip-flask ready, I have to decide what to put in this one for Boxing day.

A number of us take them and have a wide variety of spirits at our disposal from Kazakh Cognac, Greek Metaxa, Indian Honey Brandy to the usual malts, vodka's and cognac.

So is anyone else planning such exciting accompaniments over the festive period?

Southern Comfort, always have my whiskey with ice.

Swiss, have you thought about Prism or Urban? ;)

Hmm I considered them both last night, but then thought, Prism looks like a girly aftershock, Urban, tastes like piss!

It was the first time i've watched the apprentice - what a load of shite!

I normally stick with Brandy in the hip flask but this year I've got a lovely 12yr Yamazki whiskey all ready for boxing day, mmmm cant wait.

Sailor jerries or southern comfort please :) Argos doing a lovely little flask for 8 notes
