No, you said that you can cancel their contracts if you want to. I've pointed you to a list of players Adkins got out (over 20 of them) either on loan or permanent. I pointed out that many were loaned out because they couldn't be shifted permanently. You constantly went on about how you can if you're streetwise pointing to Kevin Blackwell as the example to follow. You then claimed he moved a list of 10 players on before the start of 08/09 season when in fact he hadn't moved any of them on by that point and 3 of said players were players he had on loan who just returned to their parent clubs when their loans were up. Now you're changing it to say you loan them out which is exactly what we did last season. I don't think you even know what your point is anymore to the extent you are having to lie about things I allegedly said.

Fair enough. Seems they probably did raise more than they spent. Still, lots of experienced, no doubt high earning free agents too. McNaughton, Morgan, Jaaskaleinen etc.

Not when said player is earning much more than he can get elsewhere (because he's been crap for us). The best you can do then is loan them out whilst still footing a percentage of the bill. Last season we loaned out or moved on

of that list adkins only got rid of murphy on big wages
cant really count collins as he retired to america off his own back

thats after adkins left
its a list but not of first team regulars moved on for good by adkins

That's interesting, because different to what my son is going to be on next season with another club. However I know someone who will be a first year scholar with United and they will be putting him up in digs, which obviously will cost the club.
I can only go on what happens at my lads club but the structure you describe is different. I thought it would be pretty similar everywhere to be honest.

To be honest Grizzly i think these structures can be changed very easily dependent on how the club is doing. I would think the structure at SUFC could change if we become a championship club.
My point was purely regarding how easy it is for wealthier clubs to come in and snatch our younger prospects.
