Why not?

Most of you keep mentioning names, but I think it will either be Warnock or Mighty Morgan.

Mighty? Oh dear. Warnock? Not going to happen.

My concern is our great leader couldn't find his arse on a dark night when it comes to managers so we will most likely end up with Morgan because he will put up less resistance.

Wouldn't have sacked Wilson in the first place unless I had a replacement lined up. I was thinking Paul Ince before Blackpool snaffled him or Simon Grayson. Both young and with no little promise.

My bet is Morgan gets it or failing that Unsworth, Pemberton, Wilder or some other no mark. Bearing in mind how critical this next appoitnment should be doesn't it worry you that McCabes track record since Warnock has been one mind numbing spaff up after another. The only half decent decision was Wilson and thats arguable. His criteria for employing managers is akin to pin the tail on the donkey.

Was a Blade, Check
Is a Blade, Check
Is cheap and won't cost me, Check
Thinks we are a big club, Check
Will get on with it and let me sell players whenever I fancy without slating me in the press for hamstringing the club once more, Check

You have the job. Welcome back Kevin Blackwell.

Mcabe will be going for morgan thou

no that's the whole point Morgan is the option, the only option
McCabe will have a larger list of candidates then two, Morgan had to impress and was looking good for the first two games but I think the last three performances might have ruled him out for the job.
I have not got a clue who will take over the role, I would have never guessed Wilson would landed the job in the first place last time we were searching for a new manager, so who knows what McCabe is thinking this time round.

Why??
I am a great fan of both but....

Morgan isn't a Manager yet. He might become a very successful one but I would rather he learnt his trade elsewhere. We need someone with experience.

As for Warnock... I was a great fan when he was here for the most part but he has had his time, is getting on and needs to enjoy the odd day on telly with BBC/Sky or whoever.

His time has been and gone I am afraid.

Yeah but who would come to us apart from childhood supports. Oh and look were that got us, L1.

Why do we now need someone with experience? We have to accept that we are no longer a desirable club to come to (both manage and play for) and we are now a effectively a "feeder" club for others!

Now is the perfect time to try and start fresh and allow a manager to cut his teeth. Not many on here were as worried about Gary Speed (RIP) when he took over and some even state we would have stayed in the championship if he didn't leave. What's so different about Morgan, other than the obvious age difference?
