Chris Basham and John Fleck. Replacements?

We need to worry about getting promoted first before worrying who is good enough to step back up and Bash and Fleck can help us do that in this division all being well.

I agree.

If we do go back up, we might have to do with this squad what Jokanovic did with Fulham (who we mocked at the time for spending a fortune and going back down) where we have players like Basham, Fleck, Sharp, Stevens, Norwood etc who can give the others a leg up over the wall but we have to be hard-faced about it and leave them behind rather than haul them over and be carrying dead weight with us.

Either way, most of the mainstays in the team are nearer the end of their careers than the start and we need to find some replacements who can push them down the pecking order
