Regardless of the result tonight I've never seen so much chopping and changing by a manger. I have no idea how new players are meant to settle in when Clough is hardly giving any players a run in the same position.

Same team for the first two games - gets criticised.

Changes it to a more balanced looking side - gets criticised.

Hmm. Sometimes you can't win.

I was including the cup game in there since the pre-season and fitness is so bad.

Don't really care to be honest, I think if Clough played the same team as Saturday, half of us on here would commit ;)

Good smart move by NC

Needed freshening up.

Bit more positive selection IMHO.

Fingers crossed !

You think "false 9" is a positive system? I would say it is a solid system as long as we dont concede first
It's a system that saw us break club records for consecutive wins and clean sheets, and it must be more attacking than it was then if Baxter and McNulty are both in the team.

Yes this system did get us good results. It works when we defend well and if the opposition's defence pushes high then we can exploit this with quick breakaways. I expect Peterborough to play high up tonight until if they score first

It is a system that relies heavily on the two wingers producing and two midfielders getting in the box.

Flynn, Murphy and Scoogs are not joining in at the moment.
