Children mascots - does the club charge?

I heard someone mentioning that if you want your kid to be a team mascot, parents have to pay a hefty sum. My son was picked out last year unexpectedly out of the crowd to lead the team out when they played Crewe, then got some photos of him and the team in the post, no money was never requested. Do you know any better?

About £250 a pop I think but they get a kit for that as well so say £200. The pigs charge £400 per child and that doesn't include a kit.

I'm sure they have a little mud patch in the corner near the kop where the piglets can have a roll around after they've done being clean for 5 minutes.

It was £200 11 years ago and he got a signed football and a photo with each player in the dressing room. I remember Andy Gray spending about 20 mins in the bog, Tonge turning up late, and Morgs almost breaking his hand with one of his handshakes. He also managed to miss the goal from about 5 yards after they ran on the pitch before the game. Surprised they didn't sign him up!
