I like how he makes it sound like £110 is a lot of money for private health treatments (believe me, it isn't) and that somehow it signifies a big financial commitment for a professional footballer on over £100k a year basic pay.

Let's hope the 'misdiagnosis' and inept treatment hasn't left him permanently crocked. Tbh, given the emerging consensus that its £500k only if certain conditions are met ie if he scores a hat-trick in the Champions' League final and finds a cure for cancer, it is his fitness which is my main concern about this signing.

A workmate who is a CFC season ticket holder said that their medical staff have been poor this season and they had quite a lot of injuries. Ian Evatt has been out of action for three months for a small injury that was misdiagnosed

Blackwell was interviewed on 5live several years ago and told how Henderson was diagnosed with a strained hamstring and given rehabilitation exercises. He didn't get better, he got worse. They eventually found out that his hamstring had become detached and the exercises were exacerbating the problem.
