Can anyone explain properly what the issue is here? I’m struggling to see what chaos it’ll cause.
Stadium access. As there are no lights on the BL / Cherry St junction, people turning right onto BL will have to wait for a break in traffic in both directions, which is a long wait during busy times. BL stadium isn't just open on matchdays, it's a busy workplace. Previously, cars exiting the stadium could turn onto Shoreham St when heading into town. Now they must all wait to get through the BL / Cherry St Junction. Can anyone explain properly what the issue is here? I’m struggling to see what chaos it’ll cause.
Knowsnowts bird selling scarfs on matchday ?Well that fat bird who sells the scarfs etc on the corner will probably lose her spot.
You have to wait already to turn right onto Bramall Lane. How does going down Shoreham Street currently help speed this up?Stadium access. cant understand what your complaining about she has a buzzer they came and made sure she was OK they rang an ambulance and then you turned up so there is no reason for them to stay if family are there to look after her also the ambulance time is nothing to do with the council.SCC are fucking useless, and I mean useless from every experience I’ve heard and had from them, I’m sure some will have had good experiences from them but I don’t know them. If there’s money involved for those at the top then they’ll do whatever they’re told to do.
For instance, yesterday, my wife’s Nan had a fall and she managed to press the buzzer around her neck which she pays £21 a month for, she’s had it for ages and has never used it, they came fairly sharpish apparently but as soon as me and my wife turned up they couldn’t wait to get off and fucked off, they didn’t wait for the ambulance which took an hour and 15 mins when it was supposed to be no more than 40 mins and they also expected us to know what to do if anything else bad happened, she’d had a stroke and looked in a really bad way when we got there, I was a bit shaken myself, I’m not going to lie but the disregard they have for anybody or anything, something that is almost always paid for is absolutely disgusting.![]()
