Having worked in London 1970/1974 I saw all SUFC matches in London. The programme against Chelsea on 1 September 1973 was when we won 2-1 being the only victory at Stamford Bridge during this period. Scorers being Currie & Woodward.
The following Tuesday United played Arsenal at Bramall Lane & we won 5-0 & it is remembered for TC sitting on the ball.

I've watched that video so many times over the years and can never understand Woody's reaction to scoring. The majority of Blades that day were towards that corner of the ground.

This was our 3rd game of the season and we had lost the previous two,.

Could it be that Woody was the target for the boo boys at that time?
