Surely they're going to have to shift some of these out.

That's ok then as they have a year to sort out how they'll get around it.

I would suggest more will depend on the embargo affecting them next season and how many players that would normally be loaned will be retained in the squad of 25. I bet Lampard in particular is hoping for good news.

They still have Piazon and Kalas on their books!

Some of those players have reached their peak value. Chelsea should just cash in and stop taking the piss in the loan market.

Given that we had Norrington-Davies, Slater, two Evans, Holmes, Carruthers, Heneghan, Smith, Thomas, Leonard, Gilmour, Graham & Semple out on loan at the same time earlier in the season it's not just Chelsea who will be affected by this.

Plus Eastwood, Mallon, Doherty, Hallam. Bennett etc.
The rules aren't in concrete yet, but U23s or U21s could be exempt.

Apart from the youth loans (possibly) all these players are available. My point was that Chelsea will need to shift a fair few.

They will sell them that's what they do Nd if you meet their valuation you can take your pick ,the academy is a business that's what it's set up to do. Don't know Chelsea figured but man city have made over 150 million from selling youth products over the last few years

There's a few in that list that I'd not mind seeing in Blades colours tbf... and if Chelsea have been willing to loan them out to other Prem teams before I don't see why not again! And if they're willing to flog them because they're surplus or they need to clear out the books for whatever reason then even better!

I mean there's about as much chance of us getting them as that threesome fantasy with me, Gal Gadot, and Margot Robbie, but still...

Probably the players who aren't british will be sold cheaply.

Isn't he recovering from a broken leg and the reason Leeds went out to get Cassila? Don't think he'll be an option for a while.
Last thing I remember reading about it was that he was close to a return. Think it happened at the start of the season so I’d say that sounds about right.

What's happened to Jamal Blackman? Can't see him listed on Wikipedia.

Barely played this season, got injured whilst on loan at Leeds. Back at Chelsea now.

Would anyone take him, if he was available for a low fee, as backup for Henderson?

The academy at most top clubs act like a land bank. Waiting for perceived value to be reached. Good hunting ground for Wilder type players.
Ambitious but disenchanted youth. Just looking at those Chelsea numbers means Mitchell must be putting some hours in right now.

You say that and it might be true but he went to sit on Leeds bench earlier in the season so why can’t he sit on ours in the Prem?
He didn’t go to sit on the bench. Think he was competing with peacock I think who was very shaky.

Not for me. Considering the likely cost (including his very high salary!) or that Utd would have to burn a loan on him, I think there are better options and that Blackman will most likely go to a Champ side again - perhaps even the side out of Hudders and the Massive who end up not getting Westwood.

Etheridge would be my choice if Henderson is not possible - a very good, still improving player coming off an impressive season at Cardiff despite them being relegated.

Danny Ward would be another option - I very much doubt he'll want to spend another season sitting on Leicester's bench.

An additional keeper will also be required IMO. As nice a bloke as he is, I'm afraid Moore is L1 level at best and I daren't think how many Utd would concede if the first choice keeper was absent for any sustained period of time. Someone like Marshall would be ideal if he was prepared to be understudy.

Personally, I wouldn't touch Hart with a bargepole. I've always felt he was massively overrated and that is being proved by his poor performances and inability to nail down a starting place over the last couple of seasons.

He didn’t get injured until mid November and until that point played only two games, both in the EFL cup. He needed to compete a bit more then if he couldn’t get infront of a shaky youngster. :)

Think he was due to start when he got injured

Yeah he was mate, I’m only pulling your leg with the last part of my post. He has to wait for a first team opportunity wherever he goes as he did when he came here, when Moore was initially the first choice.

Thats probs why i heard Brucie saying the Pigs could not afford to buy Hector today on RS,cos there is little chance of loaning him.

We can afford him,we should, just to piss on the pigs chips,i also think he would be a good addition.

We should buy him...then loan him out to the pigs for a big fat loan fee....before we sell him on again. Let them develop our players for us... ;)
