I wouldn't be that critical of the first half, without the mistake and the foul on Henderson we would have gone in level, I'll not say one up but on another day we could have been.

We have to treat the opposition with respect in away games. Grow into the game and get it won second half. That's the pattern for bigger clubs than us in the P.L.

No team can attack for the full 90 minutes and games have phases.

On another day they wouldn't have scored first half and by half time their crowd would have been at them.

First podcast I've listened to and enjoyed it for 6 minutes!

I've just been looking at Chelsea's squad and last few performances.

Rookie Lampard chooses not to play Willian, Alonso ( dangerous at set-pieces and overlapping), Tomori and Giroud ( set pieces). Pedro and their best player Kante are unfit.

They no longer have a Hazard or a Costa.

They play rookies Abraham and Mount who were very little trouble to us last season.

Zouma is a disaster waiting to happen. Barkley is seriously over-rated. Kovacic and Jorginho are not incisive, more crabby Ray Wilkins types that flatter to deceive.

Azpilicueta is not in the form he used to be. Keeper and Christensen ordinary. Left back, forget his name looks o.k.

I was really looking forward to watching Wilson, Frazer, Zaha, Townsend, Vardy, Maddison and Tiellemans in the first three games. None of them did that well against our strong squad. Not bothered about any of the Chelsea team now Kante is out.

This Chelsea lot are 13th in the table and look no better than that to me. They do have a strong crowd to start with at games. Keep 'em out first 20 minutes and let them all gradually run out of steam. Bring it on!

After I wrote that I changed my Prediction on here from Draw to Away win.!!

I didnt expect us to give them 2 goals start though.

Brilliant lads, well done! First one of these I've listened to and thought it was great. Two half pissed Blades with a very amusing match review; only 10 minutes long with a road sweeper appraisal thrown in; oh and "now we know where your morosity comes from."

Glad you enjoyed it. And if you like the bits where DB gets (rightly) called out for being verbose and morose, then you’ll be happy with a bit in the latest one, where I compare one of his rambling monologues to his equally meandering match reports.
