6 loses in a row and a certain striker firing blanks.

It can't go on forever, what's the chances of them turning around against us.

And what's the chances of ched being inspired back to form at his old stomping ground.

That's if we haven't got a pre contract agreement ;)

He's been injured hasn't he?

Was thinking more likely that Danny must be close to the sack and if it goes badly in the cup at the weekend and he goes we could be facing the MK Dons scenario again. Where would that leave Ched if a new manager came in?

They're very unhappy at the minute, want Wilson out, , hate Chris Turner, are talking of boycotts and seem nailed on for relegation. I must say it's piss poor how that club seems to gravitate towards the bottom of this league so easily.

Best case scenario for us is Wilson keeping his job for the game against us then getting sacked before January. The latter is inevitable. It would weaken if not sever the ties that brought Ched to the club and possibly make it easier for us to sign him if we dare.

Ched's not scored for a few games but they're still talking about him like he's their best player. He will score against us but I'm not worried that it'll be the winning goal or stop us winning as I was previously. I expect us to score at least twice. Just hope we start with two strikers.

His injury cleared up enough for him to make the bench just a few days after he was cleared of something else. Radio Sheffield's treatment of it was almost Orwellian.

They were talking about the Spanish civil war , surely Cheds to young to know about that .

Thing is London we have been saying it the last few weeks (can't go on forever) and of course it wont, however the odds say we will win again, win well and the in the next game we will start wondering "is this the game"? im fuckin lovin the ride to be honest, bring em on, if and when we do lose we will go on another long run after. another 0-3 to us, chedders being substituded after an hour.

I fucking hate that fucking hole ,
I've never had a good trip there ,
I can't remember if we ever won at that kip , standing on the old side bit in the open ,
standing on the away end in the open .
Mates car got nicked ( and found in Sheffield) , meet him on the train home that night .
Maybe it was the time I got Twatted twice in the same night ,
thanks Mitch for one of the digs thou .

Some talk on their forum of trying to get the game called off as they have 3 U21 internationals.

Scotland u21s play a friendly next Wednesday but not after that, don't think NZ u21s have a match. Republic of Ireland u21s have matches on 12th and 15th. Looks like Chesterfield wont have enough players on international duty to call off their match against us

You are aware the game against Chesterfield in a couple of weeks is at the Proact, not Bramall Lane?

A brief, rough transcript of something I heard last night......

There is still heavy traffic on Upper Hanover Way, and heavy traffic on the Sheffield Parkway, and back to the studio"

"Thank you, and now we move on to our next caller Brian"

"Good Evening Rob, now I've got something different to talk about this evening, and tonight I'm not going to be speaking about United, I'm going to be speaking about someone else"

"Fire Away Brian"

"As you well know I know a bit about football manager, because I've been a football manager, and now I'm going to be speaking about Rotherham, because believe you me, I know exactly what Rotherham need to do"

"So what is it Brian"

"Now Kenny Jackett is a superb manager for Rotherham, Rob, and I know a bit about about football management as you well know Rob"

"Ok Brian"

"yes, I managed for years in local league football so I know what I'm on about when it comes to football, and do you know what, Rob"

"What, Brian"

"There is one player that Rotherham need to sign, and believe you me it will on take One Million Pounds for Rotherham to sign him, and this player, Rob. Believe you me this player will keep Rotherham in the Championship, and I know this because I used to manage in local league football, and believe you me I know what I'm on about"

"So come on Brian, who is it"

"Well I will give you one name Rob, Ched Evans, believe you me he will keep Rotherham up this year"

I think my comeback to that would have been "But Brian, he's not exactly doing a bang up job of keeping Chesterfield in League 1 at the moment is he?"

I like Kenny Jackett, a good manager but he won't keep them up if Peter Odemwingie is the standard they are letting him sign. A good player a few years ago, but he's 35, and there's a reason why he's been without a club in my view.

My chessy supporting mate says he's the best player on the pitch most games regardless of if he scores or not.

I think it's a very nice stadium. Easy to get to, easy to get parked for free, good real ale pubs within walking distance and even good real ale served on hand pump from a trolley inside the ground, so you don't have to queue for quarter of an hour to get a drink behind numpties who are queuing up for a packet of crisps and a Twix! The pies are good. The view from the stands is good. The rivalry is good.

It's all good really!

I think you must be thinking of the old ground at Saltergate?

You think the Proact or whatever its name is a nice stadium, Really ?
Its a small breeze block stadium that is smaller than the Tesco next to it

I reckon we should unfurl a banner at the Chessie game, alongside a big photo of Ched scoring in a red and white shirt should be the legend "Come home in January, hero Ched!" :)
