I hope he can but I really can't see him hitting the heights of 5 years ago. That is a long time in football and 4 years of it were spent in the nick.

Chesterfield might be a bit of a hole but likening his time there to being in the nick is slightly harsh. He didn't spend 4 years in the nick, he spent 2.5 in the nick.

I've met plenty from Chesterfield who do seem to prefer the nick though. I assume they prefer it as they spend a lot of time there.

Was talking to a Chesterfield season ticket holder last week.

I asked him about Ched last season.
He said he was generally poor for them but said you could telll he was a superior player with high quality.
Said he was either unfit or was fit but not trying and saving himself for a future move.
Said our physio and fitness coach will play a massive role in Cheds future.
