Please, people, we don't need multiple threads regarding the potential signing of Ched Evans. Surely all relevant comment can be contained in a single thread. It's been said before, but it needs to be said once more. Multiple Ched threads clutter up the board. And as he hasn't even signed yet, the Ched thread in the rumous section is the one you should post on.

Hey the thread police left these parts long ago and now like Sheffield United, we do what we want. Apparently.

But the Ched Police are still very active in these parts

I think we need another funny as fuck piss take play on words thread.

They're a really worthwhile use of space on here and are an important step towards the Facebookification of this site.

FFS NOT ANOTHER CHED THREAD

If only it was a thread about Cheddar fecking love Cheddar cheese,

Cheddar is a cow's milk cheese that originated in Somerset, England. Cheddar is not only a noun, but it's also a verb; "to cheddar" refers to a cheesemaking process whereby the curds of the cow's milk are cooked and then milled into rice-size pieces. The pieces are then pressed into large blocks, and the blocks are stacked one on top of another to press out any remaining moisture. Cheddar cheese made in this traditional fashion are dry and crumbly in texture, with a deep, tangy, nutty flavor. A far cry from the smooth mild American-style cheddars you might find on top of a burger. Cheddar-style cheeses vary dramatically in quality, so it's a good idea to talk to your cheesemonger about them. The color ranges from ivory to straw to deep yellow in color, depending on the season and the feed of the cattle.

Best Uses: As is, in sandwiches, grilled cheese, casseroles.

Bit of a Good Gouda fan myself and whilst Cheddar is a very good sandwich cheese Red Licester (not as fashionable these days) is a game changer with sandwich cut branston of with buttered digestives.

As an aside if you surround your toastie on the George Forman with 15mm cubes of cheddar they melt down and make great cheese crisps

Another classic to start a thread about someone saying you should stop making threads about someone.

Could we have a 1+1*24-9*0 (If you answer you are a genius) section as well? That would certainly help.

Complaining about multiple Ched threads cluttering up the board via starting another Ched thread to clutter up the board.

We once had a side who were champions. Record-breakers. Who played with style, swagger, heart, & passion...

And then this Evans character came along and sat on it all. Making it all about him, about the "I" rather than the "us".

Ah, well.

It was great while it lasted.

Seems a long time ago now.
