Like others say I'm happy for Wilder to make the decisions because he's more than earned that trust.

Have to say however I'm slightly surprised we'd go down the route of the divisive Mr Evans after doing so much to unite the fanbase. Especially when he's far from certain to make any impact at Championship level.

Oh my goodness gracious me I don't believe it. I got this from the same source that told me years ago that Cresswell would sign a new player-coach contract and Lowton would go to Villa but laughed my head off and subtly put this on here seeing if anyone had heard more, but good heavens did not expect this.

There is no moral issue in resigning him IMO. There is a footballing and financial reasons which makes this highly questionable. The timing is very regrettable as it could overshadow our well merited season celebrations.

Evans passes medical signs this week and on the bench against Chesterfield . You couldn't make it up .
