Ched Evans for Cody McDonald?

A Norwich City friend of mine who's ITK(apparently!) informs me that Norwich will sign Ched in the summer with Cody McDonald coming our way.
Would be a good move IMO seeing as what McDonald is doing for Gillingham this season.

why do we always seem to hear about ched and norwich on these forums yet nothing ever comes up in the sport news sites about it - i know its only a 'rumour' but surely if they were that keen they would have signed him in january. if they go up, which i think they will, they wont bloody want the clogger anyway.

Swapping him for Ronald McDonald would be an improvement

Surely the only way Ched could sign a precontract agreement with another club would be if his contract was up this summer and he was going to leave on a free. We must have given him at least a three year contract.

They couldn't sign him in Jan probably because we wouldn't let him go, well not whilst we were still in a relegation scrap anyway.

I'd guess it's an agreement along the lines of Monty to Leeds - an informal conversation has been had with Evans and his agent telling them that they can find another club.

I would hope that there's some of Delia's pennies coming our way too - something like £1m would be nice!
