I’ve heard this kind of logic before but it means nothing.
There’s too many matches left to affect anything, a reckon both teams will easily be top half, so a draw, sharing only 2 points is the best result.
For example if Leeds lost against Forest they’ll probably come out for their next match away at Wigan much more determined/ fired up to win. Whereas the fact they got a draw eases the pressure slightly and now they are more likely to relax and get a draw or lose away at Wigan.
It’s a similar logic saying Wigan missed 2 goood chances yesterday and if they’d scored them the match would have ended 4-4.
However if they had scored another goal then the whole match would have been different.
If Wigan had managed a 3rd they may have pushed everyone forward, so we end up scoring 6 goals and win 6-3.
