Cheating lino

Terrible off side decision.

However we shouldn't have the free kick to start with.

We go again on Tuesday, not in the least down hearted after the second half performance against the champions elect.

I don't think it will cost us over the season either way but being cheated is horrible

I have no worries. Middlesboro and your cunting cheating lino will rue the day you crossed swords with the Blades this season. Mark my words. You are no way good enough.

Sky have just shown the disallowed goal using a split screen. The left side shows the penalty area and the ball being struck. The right side shows a close up of the bodies in the box. It makes it look like it was offside. However, look closely if you get a chance to see it. The still image on the right is not taken as the ball is struck, it has been frozen a split second later as the ball is in flight. It makes it look like an offside but clearly it wasn't. It has been frozen after O'Connell moves beyond the defender. Take a look at Leon in both images, he is in 2 different poses yet sky are claiming that the image on the right I simply a better view. It isn't, its a later view. You'd think those dickheads at sky with all the technology at their disposal could get the freeze frame correct. Unless they wanted to deceive us deliberately

Lino was shit, however the goal was marginally offside and was a good/lucky decision. We played okay and gave a good account of our selves against the title favourites. We won't have many if any harder games than Boro away.

Disappointed about the offside but there were positives from the performance and we go again! UTB

It is the same replay running at the same time but one is zoomed in on JOC

Have a look again. It was onside. Sky are trying to mis direct for some reason

That lino wants his assets freezing, surely he cannot be that inept? Gave Freeman offside when 10 yards on, disallowed a perfectly good goal. Bent, bent, bent. Fucking cheating cunt.
So Basham and Blackmail are cheats for their mistakes for the goal hen ? Fleck is a cheat for constantly giving the ball away ? Humans make mistakes. It happens

It's a fucking joke that photo trying to save lino's skin, can see the players aren't in anything like the same positions

They do, but when it goes against me an my love they can fucking get ready.

That is EXACTLY what I said when watching, have a like mate.

No it isn't. Look at Leon in the right sided image , he is not in the same tussle in the left sided image. The image on the right which makes it look offside is taken while the ball is in flight

Sky sport are a bunch of parachute payment loving cunts.
The 2 freeze frame shots were nowhere near at the same time.
That prick Prutton and Kennys little lass were way off the fucking mark.
Credit to JFH for insisting it was onside.

I'm fuming. I think Boro deserved the win on their first half performance but it's like losing to a last minute goal. We have lots to improve but the only people disappointed performance wise are surely those who think we had a chance of promotion.

I agree I was looking at the other players and they are all in different positions on both the stills.
If this new technology is deadly accurate then all those years we have been looking at just the 1st still for offsides could have all been wrong.
There was such a difference between the two stills.

terrible decision, he won't be punished tho. No accountability thats why they don't want technology

There's far too much at stake to ignore the need for technology in offside decisions. The 'did the ball cross the line?' stuff is shit and affects about one in 500 games. Bookers Mullet is right, they don't want incompetent officials getting shown up. The lino. last week was fucking unfit and way behind the pace when he flagged Sharp offside 'by inches'. Inches? The fat cunt lino was yards behind the ball.

Humans make mistakes? What about the 2k+ who made the journey today and were cheated out of a result? £44m of talent in the 'borough side alone and a fat, unfit wanker causes the wrong result.

You feckin idiot. He has one job and he can't feckin do it. Twice gave ridiculous decisions against us. He is either bent or just shit. Either way he
Cost us and as blades we have the right to be angry at the tosser

but video replays will not have gone in our favour today as Sky provided a frame which 'proved' it was offside (which was bollocks)

Mistakes happen by players and officials every game and provide talking points . You could argue 2k made the journey today and saw Basham and Blackman cheated us out of a result as their mistakes cost us the game.

We will get some in our favour this season. I'm just encouraged by the 2nd half performance and still hope that CW gets in that centre half, central midfielder and striker we need

didn't Blackman and Basham cost us ?( you feckin idiot :-) )

Video refs are coming into the premier league next year. Not sure about the championship but if the cock it up like that did in the confed cup then it is pointless having it.

Other than it was 3 yards, bang on. I came away from that feeling that something wasn't right about that.

Same feeling as with Fashanu at Plough Lane all them years ago.

Genuine human error / mistake just doesn't cut the mustard on this occasion.

100% goal given if we had the video ref.
Alas.
Let's just hope it balances over the 46 games !
