Speed the cheap option.
The whole club is shit, from players right though to McCabe. The lot should feck off. Another shit performance with nothing created! Again!! What do the player do in training, why can't the put a tackle in? make a 5 yard pass??? The tactics are shit and McCabe's 2 faced.

WHO OWN THE FUCKING FREEHOLD???????????????

Pray tell, what is the expensive option and why would it be any better?

I'm as down about that performance as anyone but Speed is doing what the fans wanted Blackwell to do... i.e. get the ball down and try and play.

If he's got a team full of players who are incapable of that, then he needs a full transfer window and a shed load of cash to sort it out. But until Christmas, everyone's hands are tied.

The fans need to decide what they want... because this is exactly what many asked for.

We aren't getting the ball down and playing.....

Well we're getting ball forward slowly and ponderously. With better players you'd say it was patient and considered.

The real problem I see is firepower. We have none....

We're certainly not knocking it long...

Exactly. We have taken a step back. At least with Blackwell we had a chance of scoring. We don't have anything at the moment.

They seem like they have been told to pass the ball but it is way to slow. Its the movement that is missing at the moment they all stand still or in a group togther. With no width and no movement the player on the ball has an impossible job leading to another sideways pass or a pointless forward ball giving possesion.

We're certainly not knocking it long...

We hit several long balls today - most of which ran out for a goal kick because our "strikers" (if you can call them that) are far too slow. I agree we try to pass it more under Speed but we are absolutely abysmal at it. No pace, no power, no passion. Shite.

Nobody asked for the crap we were served up with today. The last thing a club in our situation wanted was to bring in a manager with zero experience, yet another ludicrous decision by a chairman who has completely lost his way and also his desire.

Sheffield 'cheap as chips' United ............... crap team, inexperienced manager and a chairman who don't care ....... recipee for relegation.

I hope the freehold is safe ! .....life rent trust the way to go.

No doubt there are loads of reasons to be down about today but Coventry did nowt and we hit woodwork 3 times. I was disappointed that 2nd half seem to fizzle out without any real pressure and I'm very worried about the lack of confidence but for once I didn't see that the opposition had more creativity than us. I thought Coventry were awful but I aint denying they did what they needed to. Mind you, Quinn and Wardy could/should have scored and we'd have very likely been talking about 3 points. They have a decent manager and are riding high at the moment but I think we'll stay up, not that is any kind of achievement of course.
