Don't pay much attention to the vertical axis, the horizontal one is the one that makes us look good. The further right you are the more you dominate the chances per game.

The vertical axis is the points received, which doesn't always tell the full picture regarding performance.

Do we need graphs and stats to tell us that when we start to turn it on someone will be leaving with egg on their face ?

Though they and the pundits will say it's because they let us.

Points (vertical) v chance (horizontal).
Top left = more clinical (Palace)
Right = more goal mouth action
Bottom right = more goal mouth action but ultimately disappointing
Bottom left = buck your ideas up or you're going down

This one looks like a graph for the sake of it, also converting chances vs opponents chances generates a misleading stat and calling it 'chance domination index' is pretentious.
I've got the hang of it now.
